My name is Sonya and I am addicted to the smell of new baby’s heads:) That might be why I had 4 of my own. My husband and I have a daughter Shelby Allan and her husband Judd- Shelby is an NICU nurse at the Grand Island Regional Hospital and Judd farms and raises cattle. They have a 4 year old daughter named Kaysen, a 3 year old son Tate, and one year old Willa.  Our son Carson works for Nature Conservancy by Valentine, NE., and our son Kyle is in grad school at University of NE- Kearney.

I laugh easily and often, and I cry at commercials. I am always happiest when surrounded by children (yours and mine). Mostly self-taught, I feel very blessed to be able to do what I love to do; creating with those I photograph something so wonderful. I love babies and kids so I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I love everyday. I feel so blessed that God gave me this gift and I want to pass that blessing on to others through beautiful photography. I promise your session will be as stress free and fun as it can be.

I got my first “fancy” camera when the kids where little and I am so glad I have all those pictures. This photography journey started when a family friend asked me to take pictures of her grand kids - fast forward 5 years and after 23 years in the advertising and marketing business I decided to pursue this passion full time in 2011.

It’s an honor for me to be asked to share time with you, your family, and friends. Each session holds a special place in my heart. My hope is that your photos touch your heart as well, and become cherished memories you enjoy over and over again.
